45 year Reunion! Save the date! Make your reservations now!

Can you believe it has almost been 5 years since our last reunion!  We have plans set for our 45 Year Reunion and need you to spread the word again!  This year we have reserved the Long Beach Yacht Club for the venue on August 5, 2017.  Registration will be at 6:00pm and dinner will start at 7:00pm.  The cost is $60.00 per person and $70.00 per person after June 30th.  For more information or to place your reservation please email at:  millikanclassof72reunion@yahoo.com.  We hope to see you all there!  As always, it should be a great event!  So don't miss out!

It has almost been 2 months since the Reunion and I think everyone will agree that it was a huge success and people are still talking about what a great evening it was.  For those of you who do not have Facebook or know of others who don't, I promise that I will post pictures of both the Friday and Saturday events.  There is talk of having our next reunion in 5 years instead of waiting for 10 years.  Stay tuned!  We will be asking for volunteers to help us locate missing grads!  If you think you would like to dedicate some time and effort when we start orgainizing the next reunion please let us know.  You would not have to be involved in any of the actual planning or attend meetings but just using as many resources as possible to try to locate as many missing grads as you can.  We will keep this blog open as long as we are able and will post updates along the way so keep in touch and if your contact details change please notify us at our email address at:  millikanclassof72reunion@yahoo.com.  Thank you for your interest! Janet (Harber) Cowling

ATTENTION, ATTENTION~~~~~NEW ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE WEEKEND OF THE REUNION!!! We have made arrangements with The Crab Pot @ 215 Marina Drive, Long Beach for a casual evening get together on Friday, August 10th at 5:00pm. We will all meet out on the patio! Their happy hour is from 4-7pm so if you get there before 5 gather out in the patio, save some tables and watch for everyone else to come! Hope to see you there.....let's get the party on! PASS THE WORD!

I have just added more names to the Attending Paid list! Is your name on it yet? I must have your money in my hot little hand no later than July 31st so that we have a confirmed total for the venue/food! That does not mean postmarked by July 31st.....I must receive it prior to July 31st! So please don't wait until the last minute to send your check.....you have less than 20 days to get it in!

Fellow Grads,

Our reunion date of August 11th is fast upon us and we are all looking forward to a fabulous time...

We currently have a long list of grads who said they were attending and to date we have not received their check. We are under contract with the restaurant to give a food guarantee in the next few weeks; unfortunately we can not count you in if we have not received your check. By paying at the door the night of the reunion means we did not include you in our guarantee.

If you are planning to attend, please respond ASAP and send in your check for $65 to: Janet (Harber) Cowling, P. O. Box 483, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. (no later than August 1st).
 
If you are thinking of showing up and not paying but still want to partake in the evening we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accomodate a late entry. So please make sure you send in your money now so you don't miss out on what is expected to be another fun reunion!

DEADLINE OF JUNE 11TH FOR THE $60 Reunion price is fast approaching.....June 11th will be here before you know it!   Send in your money to avoid the extra cost.  And PLEASE do not send in the $60 amount if you are going to be late as it is not fair for those who meet the deadline!
